Meeting a non-SG, non-chinese girl to sell T630 tml for $290. Kinda liked the phone a lot, but a few things i dun like about it:
1 The silent vibration is power. I CANT FEEL IT. Missed a lot of calls becos of it.
2 Ringtone volume is not loud enough. Can barely hear it in a crowd.
3 Call quality not as good as my old N3200.

These things, i like a lot:
1 Bluetooth. POWER AND AWESOME. To quote the APPLE ads: "It just works!"
2 Infrared. As above. Can send pics taken to pda and lappy. Nokia phones still need to use PC suite, with the exception of the newer phones (ie: Jan 2004 onwards)
3 Quickshare: take photo and 1 click to send mms to other pple. Easy
4 Intuitive menu. T9 dictionary is on par with nokia. Certain usage is more intuitive and simplier than Nokia.
5 Awesome 65k screen. Shames lots of phones (IE: all nokias, and some samsungs, cos we all know samsung makes the best lcds.)


I shall miss using the phone and pda as mobile internet/ mobile msn soon. Its so convenient to be able to access msn / internet via gprs while on the bus / mrt.

MONEY

Gave 50 to mom after having tuitin pay last fri. Gave myself 50 to last till this friday.
Spent 30 on supper/ 2x cab fare yesterday nite.

So i shall have to save much this week. I bot 8x uncle toby's musli bars just now, for my lunch / dinner. And will depend more on instant noodles. or maybe mee soto, roti prata plain.. hahahah

Thanks xingfu for offering to lend me money. I wanna practise some self control la. Its not about the money, its about the self control and determination.

SCHOOL WORK

Today's one of those day i felt like quitting school. Didnt catch a lot of things that the lecturer said. The CS modules and FNA. FNA is quite dry. I like marketing. NEed to mug more liao. Cannot still have the bo chup attitude.

NO LAPTOP

I used to think that everytime i need computer, dun have to use laptop, can find labs or go ETP to work. But just now i was stuck in engine for a while (waiting for buyer to come) and i realised i need internet. PDA screen is too small for serious surfing mah. Didnt want to go ETP cos i scared i kena some arrow.. Sigh. Cant stand APPLE laptop users. They seem to be able to make pple around them drool at the OS, the sleekness and everything about the machine. I wished i have this though.
