Update on what chen's doing

Me went stanchart to sign the contract yesterday at their office at Bras Basah Rd. I'll be starting work next monday 29th Aug 2005 at 8.30am (gasp!) at Toa Payoh HDB Hub. Quite looking forward to it already.

I'll be an asst sales manager there. The actual job details, i'll update when i get more details.

However, there are a couple of niggling probs that i have yet to resolve before i start work.

Firstly, IS THERE AN IDIOT-PROOF WAY TO TIE A TIE? So far for my interviews, either i turned up without a tie, or i'll re-used the same tie each time. I would carefully loosen the knot, and the next time i were to wear the tie, i'll gently tighten the knot again. HELP! HELP! SOMEONE teach me how to tie a tie! He can, but he's too far away.

Secondly, i went on some shopping spree a few wks ago to get pants and long sleeved shirts for work. ALAS, i still have a pants shortage and also a shortage of suitably coloured clothes. Some of my clothes are pink-striped, red, etc. I need *more* formal and conservative clothes. Pants, i'm very particular about them. Cos i got short legs and sadly for a guy, an ass. The pants has to make me look taller, my butt less big and it has to be perfectly fitting cos i really hated pants that are loose at the sides. Thats partly why i have always hesitated on purchasing pants as the perfect one is always elusive.

Thirdly, i bought a bundle of cheap ties from taipei, but i have lost it! Only have 2 ties left now, a sliver award-winning tie and a cream coloured one, which is a remmant from my chinese high student councillor days.....

Still to purchase black leather shoes, briefcase....
