I got good jenes

I got jene test tml at mid noon. Well, everyone who knows me knows that i always study for a test (or even exam) only on the day before the paper.

Yesterday (monday), i went danny's hse in the evening to convert some vcds for wee kiat (he loaned the canon mv650i dv camera from me over the weekend). Today, i worked at enterprise the whole day (dawn (manager) had problem with laptop, jamie's (secretary) acrobat has problem and brian (senior manager) has webshopping problem). In the evening, i went home, relaxed a while and surfed the internet. Again, didnt study for jenes. WHAT HAPPENED? Dun worry friends..... let me tell u the ans...

The answer to this lies with someone very close to me..... Brenda! Ever since i told her about my jenes test, she nagged at me every day (and i mean really NAG) asking me to prepare for it. Simi meiosis, pyrimidine, eucaryotes,... all these sounds (probably) worse to me than programming codes. haha.

I went to bren's hse on Sunday and she forced me to finish all my powerpoint slides, go through 2 cd roms (can be accessed online) and attempt most of the qns in the quizes. She patiently sit beside me to help me out with the genetics, explaining to me whenever i encounter any problems, and ALSO ENSURED that i do not have the chance to 'alt-tab' and surf the internet for digital camera reviews, etc. Well, Sunday was a resounding success. Its the first time in a long while that i am fully prepared for a test 3 days before it! Thanks bren. Oh, and she pulled my ears a lot of times...
