biased reporting by the media

was watching the news at 11pm on channel u.

irks me a lot. why? simple. its regarding the gomez issue.

They interview mm lee, george yeo and 1 or 2 other MPs... both commenting on the gomez issue, and also showing the footage from the election dept that shows gomez putting the letter into the yellow envelope AT LEAST 4 times.

Then, to provide a 'balanced' reporting, they featured gomez talking for all of ONE sentence.....

How sad. Absolutely bullocks reporting by the media.

So typical of the media reporting.... getting 3 or 4 ministers / MPs / mm / sm / pm to comment on the SAME bloody issue, regurgitating the same bloody lines that gomez should quit, WP should be transparent, etc. Even prior to the Gomez issue, they also did the same stunt on the SDP and Chee issue. Well DONE! Singaporeans are stupid huh. You think that by using the tactic of repeating the same lines by the PAP people, the masses will be silly enough to listen and make it out to be the truth? Rubbish.

C'mon, surely the Singapore media (channel 8, channel U) can do better? Why the slant in the reporting of the elections in the media. Please give equal coverage to the Oppositions!
