happy new year 2006! Goodbye 2005

Happy new year guys!

Spend tis morning playing soccer at nus with some of my old chs friends. didnt feel too good after that cos i lost concentration a few times and conceded a couple of silly goals. Got reprimanded by my teammates a few times and of course this doesnt feel good. Perhaps its time to close a chapter of my love interest in playing soccer. Why do something if you are not good in it?

As this is the brand new start to the year, maybe its time to pick up a new sport. Tennis? Golf? Archery? Just something that doesnt require me to run lots. lol.

2005's a pretty significant year for me as i graduated from U and entered the workforce. Still enjoying my work now and i intend to work even harder and much smarter this year. Aiming to get a car by my birthday this year, help to repay my dad's shop loan and also to amass capital for savings/ investment/ marriage. Spent quite a bit this christmas and its time to tone down on my spending and impose a weekly cap on expenditure. Way to go chen!

Other than boosting my income by working harder and smarter, i hope to upgrade myself by taking up a professional course such as perhaps CFA, etc.
