Been dabbling in online gaming recently, and i also revisited my old online betting websites that i played 3 years ago, when i'm very bored in army. Well, recently, ladbrokes (the world's biggest bookmaker) has accepted eNets as one of the payment options. That says a lot about Singapore gamblers. They are a big market! Thats why such a big company like ladbrokes cannot afford to ignore us! And almost all big betting websites accepting bettings / deposits in SGD, and its often one of the first options available in the menu, alongside the euro and USD. Woo Hoo..
Also, i upgraded my laptop ram to 1 gig.
Was previously running on 768mb, which is quite a lot already, but men, they say, is never satisfied. If my lappy has 4 memory slots, or 8.....
Was counting the number of pple who bought ram from me: a lot sia. There's thimerosa, hanyong, mikeax (i think, cant remember), avie, yam, notsniw, snail, garry, chunyi (yes, chunyi bought 2wks ago). Perhaps kaine also bought, i cant remember too. And some more pple, but i cant remember their names. sorry.
Anyway, i got 15 sticks of 512, and 1 stick of 256 laptop memory for sale. Actually, there's no need to advertise here, cos the people who reads this blog either dun have laptop, or they have already brought from me already. lol. This's a win-win situation, as my secondary sch principle always teaches us.
Of course, the after-effects of purchasing so much ram is that I'm feeling kinda broke now....
Soccer betting has been pretty kind to me recently (actually, the whole of this year). My persistent strategy of taking liverpool, and buying 2 or 3 goals each time had paid dividents (not that much, but ok la). Each time i would choose 2 or 3 goals for a 'Pool game, and bet a small amt, around $30. Then i would incrementally increase the bet amt each time i lost, but still choosing 2 or 3 goals. Take for example last sat: I bought $120 2 goals for pool vs boro. Its 1-1 after 60 mins and 'pool were bombarding the boro goalmouth each time they attack. And i had to endure an additional 30 mins before i can heave a sigh of relief as i won the bet. I didnt win a lot, as i had lost a few games previously (hence the big amt of 120). Overall, i'm up by 2 or 3 hundred from playing with singapore pools this season. Didnt really bet much, just a few bets here and there.
Oh, and to further justify my reasons for betting: i don't bet blindly. Mostly, i follow a strategy and kept to it, increasing my bets each time as it would pay off eventually (hopefully)....
Yesterday, i betted $10 on wayne rooney scoring first against charlton, and $48 on man U. I noticed that there's live betting for that game, meaning that i can bet while the game is still going on. The odds changed slightly, and i had an idea. A super cheapskate, but nonetheless brilliant idea. I'll prepare the betting screen for betting on Man U, and i had to be fast. When Man U was about to score or the ball is about to cross the line, i had to be quick enough to press enter and confirm the bid. Boy was i lucky yesterday! Just before scholes scored (0.5s before he scored, to be precise), i pushed $50 into the system and it was accepted! Not bad la, earning twenty over bucks in the process. Scholes's goal was the opening one, and Man U cruised to a 4-0 victory.... Total winnings yesterday: $48. Not a lot of $$, but a lot of fun!
So far, my betting account is up by $448 since i started last sunday. I won about 10/12 of the bids i made. The only 2 that i lost are $1 on frank lampard to score first against liverpool and $10 on rooney to score first against charlton. Both bets are played for fun, and the odds looks good... The rest, i won! Lady luck's been shining on me...
Of course i know that i must be careful. I will, dun worry. Other than my initial bet of 200, none of my bets thereafter exceeded 100. And i intend to keep to it. But then, the odds for AC Milan to go through to the finals of the champions league is 1.06 leh. How not to buy? They are leading 2-0 after the first leg, and PSV hasnt scored any away goals.... Thats 6% returns overnight. Good money, if i got 1 million in my betting account. Thats a free 60 grand of pockey money...
Arsenal vs WBA tonight anyone? lol
