Went kino and co-op to look for certain books that i wanted to keep and read but the price was too expensive. And then there was Popular, the people's bookshop. Probably the last time that i went to Popular was in JC when i was looking for TYS or buying Pilot G2 refills. Popular. The one at Orchard MRT.
Went there just before meeting Gita and to my pleasant surprise, i found the book i was looking for for only 8.90!! I grabbed 3 titles from the same author (Dale Carnegie) and went to pay for my loot. There's another book Think and Grow Rich by napoleon hill which i had wanted to buy but the price of 17 dollars proved a bit too prohibitive. I shall look around, perhaps in bras basah before buying it. Anyway i now have some books to occupy my time. Self-help books, dun u just love them!?!
oh, the book that i bought was "how to win friends and influence people".
